Been hitting all kinds of places with Eve 6 lately. Alaska, Oklahoma, Rockton, Illinois and others. In addition to that I've been doing lots of work with ESP such as the Heineken Inspire events with Cold War Kids.
I've also been in the studio with Lonesome Dan & the Curmudgeons and other artists.
Eve 6 Shows & the Studio
Back in the studio!
After being on the road for a lot of 2009 it was good to relax over the holiday season and jump back into some studio work. In early 2010 I spent a lot of time at Suffolk Recording Studios. There I mixed and mastered an album called "Balancing Meridians" for legendary blues guitarist Kerry Kearney. I then got to work on an album for hard rock band Letter to the Exiles. Since then I've started doing some teaching over at Music Palace Studios. The owner Mic and I have started up a private audio recording program which so far, has been going great. It's a unique opportunity for the students since they're learning in a real studio and getting lots of hands on experience with real sessions.
EVE 6
Been doing a lot of one-off fly dates with Eve 6 lately. They are a great bunch of guys and a lot of fun to mix. Other than that, I've been laying pretty low, doing a few club dates, relaxing, a few studio gigs, relaxing... enjoying some downtime...
On tour with Boyce Avenue...
Just wrapped up a month long US club tour with Boyce Avenue, a young, up-and-coming band from FL. We went from Fl all the way out to CA and back. Some interesting venues and a couple of vehicular breakdowns made the tour a bit of a challenge but it was rewarding nonetheless. Look 'em up and check 'em out.
Still out on the road with Ryan Star.
Been out mixing for Ryan Star since March. Playing some fun shows for sure. We get a break in early June before going out again for most of the summer. Pics and stories to come! Keep checking the tour blog.
